Bored with the traditional modern aesthetics of your computer? Check out this custom Steampunk keyboard handcrafted by Hieronymus Isambard "Jake" von Slatt. This was created from the base of an IBM Model M "Clicky" keyboard which went into production in the mid '80's and is still being manufactured today. The conversion is impressive to say the least, and you can see the step by step process on his website. If you are in the market for one of these beauties, Jake's friend Doc sells custom pieces at datamancer.net. To learn more about the Steampunk genre, read up on it here. ![]() ![]() source: steampunkworkshop.com
