The Colorado Rockies E-mail
Thursday, 18 October 2007
With the best record of a Major League Baseball team in any 22 game stretch (21-1), the Rockies seem unstoppable. If it's not Holliday getting the job done, it's Helton. If it's not Helton, its Matsui. And if it's not Matsui, someone will inevitably step up and be the hero du jour.  And talk about a pitching staff that finally came to play. With 1/2 of TLS staff hailing from Denver, and the rest of us avid baseball fans, we thought it fitting to note this milestone from The Mile-High City. Whoever takes the AL pennant sure has their work cut out for them, and we can probably expect the best World Series in years. Oh yeah, and we unanimously cast our vote for Matt Holliday for NL MVP.
