Last night, I went to bed sober as a priest in order to wake up early for an early hesh sesh. My good friend Joey is moving to San Jose to skate w/ his other bros and this was pretty much the last time we'd be able to shred before he moves this weekend. So we went to the Volcom Costa Mesa park this morning for a bit snapped some shots of the crusties lurking around the park's mini-bowl. Beer bellies - Check. Flannels - Check. Cargo Shorts - Check. Athletic Shorts - Check. Circle Jerks on the portable Ipod Listening Station - Check. Early Grabs - Check. Some of these old dudes had some speed, and one was actually busting these radical little hand-plants. The crazy thing is that once were leaving (around 10:00 a.m.), even more of these guys started showing up. This might become a regular routine of mine.
