The makers of MomSpit deliver creatively clean and user-friendly skincare products. Their no-rinse cleaners are for use on the hands and face. MomSpit not only comes in an array of scents, but is pH balanced, biodegradable and contains no alcohol. Last summer, the Emerica skate team took a motorcycle tour through Northern California and invited Bryan Derballa along to document the trip for Epicly Later'd. We stumbled on this brilliant photojournal and thought it the perfect documentation of a youthful road trip. Camping, swimming, smoking, drinking and girls making out - we here at TLS romanticize life on the road and the imagery it provides. See the set of photos in their entirety at lovebryan.com.
Consumers International (CI) today announced the winners of the International Bad Products Awards. The awards aim to highlight failings of corporate responsibility and the abuse of consumer trust by internationally recognized brands. Coca-cola, Kellogg’s, and Mattel top the list of international brands guilty of abusing consumer rights, with Takeda Pharmaceuticals winning the overall prize for taking advantage of poor US regulation and advertising sleeping pills to children, despite health warnings about pediatric use.
All credible sources claim that Joe Torre and The LA Dodgers have come to an agreement on Torre's management of the Dodgers at least for the next half decade. This comes as no surprise, with Little's recent and sudden departure. What does this means for Angelenos? Well, it probably means that 'Baseball Don' Mattingly will join Torre's staff given his long-standing personal and business relationship with Torre, as well as the fact that he cut ties with The Yankees just this week. And, the newest development in a related story, is that Alex Rodriquez's power-agent, Scott Boras has been meeting with the Dodgers this week to see if they can't reach an agreement. The speculation alone has led to this being the most interesting October for Dodgers fans in years.
While checking out the Rogue Status Smog Check, we came across this (below). Interesting, to say the least. Both of these companies have become wildly successful, especially in the last year, and they even did a collaborative tee-shirt to commemorate the opening of The Hundreds flagship store off Fairfax. Comments are closed, but you may discuss in our new 'Forum' section if you wish.
The Nike Air Trainer TWII will be re-issued for the first time for Supreme in the coming weeks. These will be available in four colorways, on November 8th at Supreme NY/LA and November 9th at all Supreme Japan stores. To commemorate the release, Supreme has also designed a baseball jacket, which will be made available the same day. The Nike Air Trainer TW was originally introduced in 1989, and is probably remembered as the shoe multi-sport athlete Bo Jackson (who was arguably on track to be the best running back to ever play the game) endorsed in his many "Bo Knows" print and television advertisements. For more information visit Supreme's website.
We here at TLS have been telling people about this grossly underrated college football program for years. This week, people finally started to pay some well deserved attention. Check out this fairly standard excerpt from their game versus Millsaps College and jump on the bandwagon.
