There's a certain skill in producing a media-based product - be it a television show, a movie or a website - that is completely useless AND addicting. I Can Has Cheezburger is both: a compilation of "lolcat" images and ridiculous mispelled captions, each one more useless (and funny) than the one preceeding it. And I can't stop looking at this site. I know for a fact that this site makes good money in advertising revenue, and I'd be dishonest if its mere existence did not make me reconsider the time and money I spent on a college education. My educational remorse aside, check out ICHC if you are not quite ready for 2008 and would rather procrastinate a little longer on getting some work done. And the answer on everyone's mind is "yes", you can make your own lolcat image and if approved it will be featured on the site. source: icanhascheezburger.com |

I love baseball. And my love for the game has provoked me to make mention of the fact that the Mitchell Report is probably the most unneccessary investigation ever. In short, the Mitchell Report has buried 86 players who may or may not have used "performance enhancing drugs." While no one has been prosecuted criminally for these charges, the result is nothing short of character mass murder. Hailed by ESPN's legal analyst Jayson Stark (and every other person worth a shit) as dubious, this $20 million investigation amounts to little more than 400 pages of slander purported by less than credible sources (or those hoping to avoid blame themselves). I'm completely at a loss as to why Mitchell assumed that he was a wortwhile candidate to determine a "level playing field," given that the ex-US Senator is a member of the most privileged and exclusive community in the world. It might also be interesting to note that when Mitchell is not witch-hunting pro athletes, he's a lobbyist for Big Tobacco, the toxic waste producing GE Corporation or the Chocolate Manufacturers of America, a conglomerate widely known to exploit lax child labor laws in poor African countries. Good work Mitchell, you are a douchebag. |

These wood grain skis by Bogner are one of the cooler designs I have seen this winter. They are a nice alternative to the garish designs traditionally used on twin tips. More on their website. source: indigosnow.com |
