Our friends at Rise Up International are opening a new clothing boutique in downtown Phoenix that presents urban street wear with a social commitment. A portion of all of their gross receipts go towards humanitarian efforts in Nicaragua, India, China, and locally. For their opening weekend, they will be throwing a bash on Friday, April 12 with cocktails and a DJ to keep the feet moving. The following evening they will be hosting an event poolside on the rooftop of the San Carlos Hotel with wine, cheese and good friends. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and say hello. Rise Up is also promising that any clothing purchase made out of their storefront will act as a shield preventing Dirty Scottsdale submissions. Well worth the trip if you ask me.
