Stussy makes great accessories. Here's another style from their Holiday 07 line: The Buffalo Plaid Pouch. Available in two color options (as shown below), this bag is super useful if you're on your bike and you don't want your keys, phone, wallet, etc. making you uncomfortable - and let's face it, not that many of us require those messenger bags that you always see fixie kids rocking. 'Cause, how much stuff do you need to carry on you at all times? Remember you are a dude. So act like one. With that said, you might want to opt for the grey color option. *The best part about this, is that you can wear this as a 'fanny pack' if you're into the whole irony-is-cool scene. These are available now at Stussy Direct. source: www.stussydirect.com |

Finally, 3Sixteen have settled into their new offices and have unveiled their Holiday 2007 Lookbook. The brand has done well to distinguish itself from the brands that were once its peers, and has been able to establish themselves as a more of mature collection. Distribution is tight, the line is solid and they cover every base with regards to cut and sew, tees, and fitteds. The Holiday collection will be available at 3Sixteen retailers in the coming weeks. To view the Lookbook, visit the 3Sixteen website. source: www.3sixteen.com |

Floto Imports make great products. Classic styles of outstanding quality, no frills. Apparently, what they saved on web design was passed directly through to you, the consumer. Nice of them. After all, you don't need another thematic company to tell you all about their inspiration and revolutionary production processes, you just need a handsome looking tote in which to carry your belongings at a reasonable cost. Floto is an old-world style company that doesn't need to tell you all about their old-world style. The Postiano is shown below, and here are a few more of our favorites. source: flotoimports.com |

Stussy has always made great accessories. I've long been a supporter of this brand and for as long as I can remember I've carried Stussy wallets, backpacks and messenger bags. Last year I received as a gift the Multi Crown Pouch wallet, which is modeled after those produced by Comme Des Garcons. The interesting part, however, is that the quality was there and comparable to those from CDG. This year Stussy has decided to produce a run of bright green wallets. Featured below are my favorites: the SS-Link Banner Bi-Fold Wallet ($25) and the SS-Link Banner Pouch Wallet ($28). These are available at the now at Stussy Direct. source: www.stussydirect.com |

Rockett is a brand I've watched for a couple years now. Coming out of no man's land (San Bernadino, CA), this brand does not follow trends or even the apparel calendar for that matter. Rockett just does their own thing, such as launching their flagship store in Pomona. That's right, Pomona. Rockett is a brand with an aesthetic that may not be very similar to what we normally feature on TLS, but you have to love what these guys are doing. I went to their website today sort of randomly and decided that everyone else should at least see their homepage. There is also an online store where you can buy direct. source: www.ridetherockett.com |

When I lived in the UK, I used to spend a lot of time with this Norweigan guy named Aksel. He once told me that ever since oil was discovered off the coast of Norway, his country has been so wealthy that no one really has to work anymore. In fact, he said, there was a huge drug scene in Oslo wherein all the kids that were using lived on the dole, which incidentally, rivaled salaries of entry-level executives here in the U.S. He also told me that the maximum prison sentence was 17 years in Norway. Basically, Norway is pretty fucking cool. Since then, I've always had a fascination with Norway. Well, one of my favorite shoe companies, Tretorn (Norway) has opened their first flagship store in the city where I was first held up at gunpoint. That's right, Washington D.C. The store is located in the heart of Georgetown at 1237 Wisconsin Ave NW. If you are in the area, be sure to check it out. image: www.coolhunting.com |
