Death Traitors E-mail
Friday, 18 January 2008
Death Traitors is a cool new clothing company. They have a hipster vibe with cultish and moderately morbid graphics. The designs are colorful and original and they make some great knit accessories as well. Check them out at deathtraitors.com.

Brave Star Denim E-mail
Thursday, 17 January 2008
For the fast growing army of raw denim purists out there, Brave Star is the brand for you. Each style uses selvage created in the oldest known denim loom in the world, Cone Denim's famous White Oak plant, which was established in 1905. Great fun fact. The back pocket detail (problem area in most high-end denim) is simple and classic with some nice cuts to match. The great thing is that for selvage, the $150-220 pricepoint won't leave your wallet hurting. Check them out at welcomehuntersla.com.

Etnies Plus SS 08 E-mail
Thursday, 17 January 2008
Etnies has unveiled a few new styles of their Spring/Summer 08 collection which features bright colors as well as some more muted tones. All and all, it is shaping up to be a fairly well-rounded collection. For more information visit the Etnies website. The shoe featured below reminds me of Hi-C Ecto Cooler for some reason.

Vans Vault Spring 08 - Color Theory E-mail
Wednesday, 16 January 2008

Vans has unveiled their Spring 2008 line-up and it is looking very interesting. Combining many new industrial materials and bold colors is indicative of Vans' commitment to both its own heritage and innovation. In my honest opinion the Vans Era Classic are the best daily wearers and I typically own about 5 pairs of these at any given time. My next purchase will be the green-purple plaid joints in the upper middle. Check your local Vans Vault account for details.

Wings + Horns is one of our favorite contemporary labels out of Vancouver, B.C. Many consider it to be part of the next generation of streetwear...grown up a bit with excellent execution of cut and sew. Here are a few of their hoodies from their winter collection. They are slim cut with some great embellishments. See more at Blackbird.

Sruli Recht Jacket E-mail
Friday, 11 January 2008
We have been hearing a lot about Icelandic fashion these days and this creative collective seems to be heading up the pack. This jacket would make Harry Houdini shit his pants. Constructed of faux sheepskin and consisting of seam in only 45° and 90° angles. Bike style number code locks are used as the fasteners. Most definitely avant garde. Check out more of this revolution here
