Orange County, CA-based Franco Shade have unveiled their Fall 2007 offerings and have made them available for purchase through their online store. Franco has made some big steps design-wise, which has resulted in a much more grown-up or sophisticated brand than they were just a season before. Note the many new cut-and-sew pieces, each of which is ambitious in its own right, and also the use of darker colors. This is definitely a step in the right direction for new streetwear brands. |

Vans unveiled some of its Winter 2007 Styles, and it's choice of colors is rather interesting. Vans has stepped up their game with the resurgence of sneaker culture. Its W) Taps, Vault and Vans by Marc Jacobs are some of the most sought after microbrands in North America and Asia at the moment, and they have not slacked when it comes to their general releases. We are happy to see more done with the Half Cab, a style that the brand had largely forgotten about until recently. For more information check out www.vans.com. |
