Someone actually made this, and it is completely, 100% legal (thank God) in California because of the various "non-evil" components: off-list receiver, 10-rd magazine, etc...Very interesting to say the least. I think it is a one off, but the rapacious comments below the article "I want to buy one for my 9 year old son" or "If this was out before XMas I'd have bought it for my wife" is a good indication on the marketability of this type of product.
