In short, Milk is the ultimate computer desk: Designed for use with Macs, it feaures a large white high-gloss lacquer top, aluminum or chrome base and adjustable height. My favorite features are how it is designed explicitly to clean up the workspace, and contains compartments to file on top of the desk rather than the side, as well as to hide all power cords and wires. This project is a collaboration between Soren Kjaer a Danish 'serial entrepreneur' and Holmris Hansen A/S furniture manufacturers. The Milk workspace is technically only available in Scandanavia, but special orders are available for those elsewhere in the world. For more information, visit the Milk website. source:www.milk.dk |

With Jonas Samson's high-tech light-emitting wallpaper it's possible to use a two-dimensional flat surface as a light source instead of a 3D object. As long as the wallpaper is turned 'off', it is indistinguishable as a source of light. Instead, it is just what it appears to be: wallpaper. I like. Nooka have updated their website to show off some new styles that will be available this holiday season. Nooka is a great line that I've been facisnated by for the past couple of years ago since I first stumbled across their booth at Magic Trade Show. Based out of New York City, Nooka produces some of the most interesting and fashion-forward styles around, with lesser-used materials employed during the manufacturing process. Ranging from $200 to $3000, the complete line can be viewed at www.nooka.com. Be sure to check the website for a full list of retaiilers in your area. source: www.nooka.com |
