Although these bags are designed to outfit the ultimate outdoorsman, you can never be too prepared in the city either. Filson's field and hunting bags are simple and rugged-looking, so you don't have to worry about scuffing the monogram while riding your bike on busy streets. The origin of the Filson field bags dates back to the 1890's when they were designed for Alaskan gold-seekers. That being said, they are made with the most durable materials and put together with the highest-quality construction techniques. |

A question for the hippies: Is it alright to cut down a tree if you are going to make a bicycle out of it? Scrape the resin off of your frontal lobe, because that is going to require some serious calculation. Spotted Owl population decline vs. the detrimental effects of ore mining vs. decreased vehicle emissions vs. the long term effects of reducing the CO2 to Oxygen conversion by clearcutting our national forests...it'll blow your mind, man. Just enjoy these 10 wooden (save a few bamboo) masterpieces by people who smoked enough pot to dream them up but not so much that they were never actualized. More... |

G-Star Raw has a history of great collaborations, selectively chosen, unique concepts that are brilliantly executed. This project with Cannondale is no different. Applying their trademark post-apocolyptic, gun-metal-grey-toned style to the Cannondale BAD BOY frame, G-Star has dressed up this bike in an understatedly hard-core yet aesthetically pleasing way. Unlike many of the other clothing brands coming out with bikes as of late (see Obey+Fuji, Gucci, and Chanel), this one is not a fixed gear or a city bike. The mountain bike style frame employs an 8 speed internal hub to change gears (at least they aren't showing). Brooks saddle, Brooks leather handlebar grips, integrated lighting system, anti-scratch frame...the full deal. Each of the components, mostly by Shimano, were made with custom finishes for this project exclusively. It is limited edition, only 500 in production. They hit Cannondale dealers in March, first come, first serve...they won't last long. See more photos... |

Belgian designer Raf Simmons, known for his work with fashion house Jil Sander, has teamed up with Eastpack to create a full line of colorful bags and packs. The designs are both functional and beautiful and just became available at oki-ni.com. Here is our favorite, unless you count the matching fanny pack, which was far too impressive to show. source: hypebeast.com |

Here is a some fresh inspiration from a self proclaimed chem-nerd turned jeweler. Raven Hanna has chosen to use molecules as her muse and fuses their structures into one of a kind necklaces and earrings. The design featured is serotonin, but she also has caffiene, chocolate, and dopamine among others. Very creative idea and aestetically appealing to boot. For those manly men out there that think these designs are a little on the "light" side, feel free to double or triple up Mr. T style and OD on accessories. Get em at her etsy store. |

Ranking high on my lust list is this new bag from Austrian company Working Class Heros. Straying away from the traditional rectangular model of laptop carrier, this bag is about as versatile as they come. Composed of premium cognac leather on one side and washed slate cotton canvas on the other, it can be folded and carried in any number of different ways. It fits a 13" MacBook horizontally and all other sizes vertically. Handles, pockets and straps, what more could you ask for? Also, it is great looking. Get it here. source: notcot.org |
