I stumbled on this art the other day in a dodgy Mexican food restaurant and thought it was pretty cool. Ocampo is a prominent Mexican artist, born in 1943, who describes his own style as "metamorphic." His use of optical illusions within traditional Mexican and Roman Catholic imagery is interesting and impressive. See more samples of his work here.
